City Gov’t to receive its 2nd SGLG Award

 THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONFERS THE SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE –SGLG AWARD FOR 2016, TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF KIDAPAWAN, A LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HERE SAID.

 City Mayor Joseph Evangelista confirmed the said development during the City LGU Convocation Program on Monday October 9, 2017.

 The Seal or better known as the Pagkilala sa Katapatan at Kahusayan ng mga Pamahalaang Lokal is bestowed on exemplary local government units that have performed well on good local governance, promoted transparency in terms of good financial housekeeping, have advanced social protection, disaster mitigation, and business friendliness and promoted peace and public order.

“The SGLG is a clear recognition of the exemplary performance of our City Government employees in exercising their mandates.”, Mayor Evangelista said.

 The DILG has subjected the City Government into an evaluation on May 2017.

 Department managers of the City Hall were interviewed during the evaluation as to how well they performed and delivered the needed services to the public.

 The same SGLG Award for 2015 was bestowed to the City Government last year.

 A Performance Challenge Fund incentive from the National Government awaits the City LGU aside from the SGLG Plaque of Recognition.
